What's in an Acronym?

Normal people have a hard time remembering all those computer industry acronyms. Well, here are some of them, just for kicks:
  • CD-ROM: Consumer Device, Rendered Obsolete in Months
  • PCMCIA: People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms
